FITNESS AND CARDIO PROGRAMS

BUTTS & GUTS~ A one hour class of hit it hard below the belt exercises to tone and strengthen the lower body. This concentrated toning class focuses on the abs, glutes, legs and lower back using light weights and body resistance. Work on all regions of the lower body and core.  For everyone from the beginner to the highly experienced exerciser. Please bring mat, water and weights.

POWER 60 - This class combines fat burning cardio with total body sculpting.  We will utilize segments of cardiovascular work, muscle conditioning, and other athletic drills to ensure a complete total body workout.  Each week will be a challenge - You will need weights, a mat, and water.

KETTLE BELL - A workout combination of cardio/strength/resistance using the kettle bell.  A full body workout incorporating moves to burn fat, strengthen your core and tone muscle.  It's a great full body sculpting routing moving from one area of the body to the next.  Class limited to 15.

ZUMBA - Ditch the workout and join the party!  Zumba is a latin inspired dance party that gets your heart rate going.  Join Amy as you Meringue, Salsa, and Belly Dance your way to fitness.  Class is open to all levels and participants are encouraged to work out to their own level.  Zumba is not your average aerobics class.  Music is loud, instructor cueing is verbal, and the energy is amazing!  This a must try class if you set a "Weight Loss" goal for this year.

ZUMBA BASICS - Latin inspired dance class for all levels!  You will learn the basic moves and dance steps of Zumba put to music.  The class is open to all levels who want to get moving and grooving - this is not your average aerobics class.  It's all about dancing and having a great time while burning lots of calories.  The energy is exhilarating and inspiring.  You'll feel great - bring a friend!  Please bring water and a towel.

YOGA FOR WEIGHT LOSS (ALL LEVELS) - This all levels class will start with a centering, move into warm up and progress into flowing sequences that help get the heart rate up, work the muscles and help jumpstart your metabolism.  The class will conclude with several minutes of relaxation.  Bring a yoga mat and stretching strap (an old men's tie works well for this too!).

FUNDAMENTALS OF TAI CHI/QIGONG - Tai Chi and Qigong are a family of Chinese mind-body health and fitness practices.  Their movements are slow and gentle.  Free your breathing, improve your balance & posture, relax your neck & shoulders, move with ease & grace and relieve stress while having fun.  At the end of the class, you'll feel great!  Participants need to wear loose, comfortable clothing and sneakers.

Fitness Classes for Teens and Tweens
